Dr. Aaron Savedoff graduated from Binghamton University and received his M.D. degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY.


During his adult residency training at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, he was deeply involved in teaching residents, interns and medical students, earning the “Resident as Teacher” award for  his contribution. 


His passion for teaching is appreciated by his patients as well, with whom he takes time to listen and thoroughly answer their questions.


Dr. Savedoff has been a staff psychiatrist at John Jay College,  Fordham University, and the Addiction Institute of New York.  He was a teaching attending at the Zirinsky Center at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, a research center for Bipolar Disorder.  


His work at the Zirinsky Center has made him a specialist in Bipolar and other mood disorders.


Dr. Savedoff is currently on staff at Mount Sinai and works in the emergency room setting at various times throughout the month.  He remains actively engaged in teaching and supervising psychiatrists in training at several of the Mount Sinai hospitals.


Dr. Savedoff is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is an active member of the American Psychiatric Association.
